Here is a shot I took last week of Pompeys Pillar National Monument as the tail end of a rain storm was blowing past.
Awesome news this last week. Supaman won best music video award at the Aboriginal People’s Choice Awards for the video I shot of him performing “Prayer Loop Song”
We are in the process of shooting a new video for his song “Throw Yo’ Hands.” The track is pretty sick. I can’t wait to finish this one.
Also, local Americana-Blues band Broken Bow came into the studio to perform a couple of songs. Lindsey Jacobsen, the bands frontwoman, has a powerful, sultry voice that lends itself nicely to the rest of the band especially the lap steel played by Brian Bondiettti. They are definitely worth checking out.
The Great American Hill Climb is one of my favorite events to shoot in Billings. Unfortunately, I didn’t have a lot of time to spend out there, so I thought I would do a quick feature on the guys responsible for catching the bikes. I almost got run over by a bike getting these. I thimk it was worth it.
These are unedited photos of the Billings band We Three Bears at a show I shot video at last night for the Gazette. They are straight from my Canon 70d to my iPhone via the cameras wifi connection. I’ve only been able to view them on my phone but they look pretty good considering they were shot at 6400 ISO.
We Three Bears really rocked the place which surprised me a bit since they play a mandolin and banjo.
Luke Dowler also put on an awesome show, last night.
I’ll post the video to both the acts when I finish editing them.
I had a fun time yesterday shooting a video for a story about the Jeff Bridges and the Governor visiting the YMCA to raise awareness on hunger. You can read Rob Roger’s story here: http://bit.ly/1oL8FBQ
