Yesterday I took my daughter to ZooMontana. THe light was great on the Koi poind, so I took a ton of pictures. My daughter had fun luring to them to the surface with the $0.25 vending machine food while I shot pictures. I haven’t gone through them all yet, but here is one of my favorites.
Today, I got to record Scott Holt who spent 10 years of his life playing guitar with blues legend Buddy Guy. He is in town performing at the Yellowstone Valley Brewing Company Garage Pub on Saturday Night. The performance is part of the Rock the Block Party for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. A huge chunk of the proceeds goes to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. You won’t be disappointed if you go, Scott is an amazing talent, and his performance is benefiting a great cause.
Here is an early look at the Wes Urbaniak music video. I think it is the best effort to date on my part from the whole Studio Enjoy series. I had a lot of fun making this one.
Yesterday , I had Wes Urbaniak in the studio. I went a little overboard for this video and had him record 3 separate instruments plus vocals at different times and I will cut the video together to make it look like he is playing at the same time. Normally, I try to avoid shooting band shots where the musicians pose with their instruments, but Wes makes his own so I wanted them in the shots.
Here are some shots from the photo shoot, and a frame grab of a wide shot that combined three different videos. I’ll post the video on Friday when it publishes.
