My second video on Yellowstone National Park posted today. It is about the difficulty the early expeditions to the area had convincing the outside world of the wonders within the boundaries of what is now Yellowstone National Park. The image I posted is a frame grab from the video. It is a shot of the Norris Geyser Basin. You can watch the video by clicking on the image, or clicking here.
Today, I had a shoot with Heatherr and David. This was a pre-wedding shoot for the purpose of creating a topper for their wedding cake. They were kind enough to meet me out at Zimmerman Park at 5:30 in the morning. Here are some of the shots from today:
Today, I went out to the Miller Lite Great American Championship Motorcycle Hillclimb. Essentially, it is a timed motorcycle race where participants try to climb a long steep hill. I didn’t shoot stills, but I did pull a frame from my GoPro Hero2 that looked pretty cool. One of the riders, Jason Blackford, let me put cameras on him.
If you are interested in checking out motorcycle hillclimbing, you can watch my video here, or click on the picture.
Today, I covered a hot air balloon rally where the balloon that I was following nearly landed in the middle of the Interstate during Billing’s morning rush hour. The balloon landed on the shoulder of the interstate. If you are interested you can watch the video here.
Here is a couple of shots from today and one from a car show that I covered earlier in the week.
Well, the first of my videos on Yellowstone is posted and you can watch it by clicking here.
The image below is from a timelapse that I made using my 5D. The final result is amazing to watch full screen, but it still looks cool after it has been shrunk down to fit the web. The arch is the North entrance to the park in Gardiner, Montana.
Sorry that I have not been posting this week. I have been trying to edit my Yellowstone National Park videos. The first one will be on our website on Monday. I will post a link when it goes up.
Here is something that I shot on Thursday and just finished up with today. The image below is a screen grab of one of the giant panoramas that I took of Pictograph Cave State Park in Billings, Montana.
Today I covered a race called the Dirty Dash. It is a 3 mile mud related obstacle course. It looked like it was a ton. Maybe next year I can participate in it rather than cover it.
The following are shots of the Lauren Lane who was nice enough to wear a GoPro for me for the race. I made two video s from the event and took a panorama.
