Today’s image is this one that I shot at Riverfront Park in Billings. It’s a shot of the back pond/lake area. The leaves are just starting to turn colors, and this area seemed to have an abudance of colorful trees.
In yesterdays shot, I wanted to include a passing train in the image. Unfortunately, the train’s lights were too bright. In the shot with the passing train, the stars in the sky were very sparce, and the train car in the foreground was underexposed. Also, the moving train caused the ground to rumble thus causing the camera to vibrate which made the train car in the foreground to become fuzzy. Here is the shot:
So today, I used photoshop to combine the image that I posted yesterday with the image of the passing train to come up with the shot that I was hoping to shoot. I would have prefered to get the shot in one exposure, but sometimes you just have to make do with what you have. Here is the final image:
